Corinne M. Mull
Corinne has been a criminal defense attorney for over 40 years. She received her law degree from Emory University School of Law in 1984 and her B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University in 1981. She practiced criminal law in the DeKalb County Public Defenders’ Office from 1987 to 2017, where she served as Chief Trial Assistant Public Defender for the last 15 of those years. In that capacity, she specialized in violent felonies and sex offenses. After serving for 24 years in the Public Defenders’ Office, she opened her own practice in 2017. For the last eight years, she has focused primarily on major felony litigation. She has consistently been rated “AV Preeminent” by the Martindale-Hubbard attorney rating service, which reflects their “highest possible peer review rating in legal ability and ethical standards.”
Corinne’s dedication to indigent defense earned her recognition by the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers when it awarded her its 2022 Indigent Defense Award. In particular, she was recognized for her “unrelenting commitment to defending the rights of all people facing State prosecution” and for her decades-long career “defined by her trademark tenacity, brilliance, and compassion that not only saved lives but served as a beacon for everyone fighting for dignity and fairness.” In addition, she is the recipient of the Gideon’s Trumpet Award, presented by the Georgia Indigent Defense Council for her work to improve indigent defense in Georgia.
Corinne is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
